La nuova Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport ha celebrato la sua anteprima mondiale al Salone dell’Auto di Los Angeles.

La versione da corsa da 515 kW (700 CV) della sportiva stradale, la Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport , sarà prodotta in soli 200 esemplari, tutti destinati all’utilizzo in pista.

“Per i prossimi anni, i nostri clienti gareggeranno non solo sulla GT2 RS Clubsport nei giorni di pista ma anche in occasione di eventi automobilistici internazionali, stiamo organizzando eventi grandiosi”, afferma il dott. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Vicepresidente Motorsport e GT Cars.

La tecnologia della macchina da corsa di Weissach è basata sull’auto sportiva 911 GT2 RS ad alte prestazioni, proprio come la 935, presentata da Porsche nove settimane fa.

Entrambi condividono lo stesso motore della versione stradale: un propulsore biturbo a sei cilindri da 3,8 litri di ultima generazione. La potenza del motore posteriore viene trasferita tramite un cambio a doppia frizione Porsche a sette rapporti. Come in tutte le altre versioni racing della 911, il guidatore cambia marcia tramite i paddle posizionati sul volante. Il posizionamento del motore dietro l’asse posteriore assicura eccellenti prestazioni, in trazione e frenata. Le pinze monoblocco in alluminio a sei pistoncini sull’assale anteriore in combinazione con dischi freno in acciaio scanalati dal diametro di 390 millimetri forniscono eccellenti valori di decelerazione. L’assale posteriore è dotato di pinze a quattro pistoncini e dischi da 380 millimetri.
